On 25th February, ASPIRE convened the 2nd edition of the Lung Cancer Care Continuum Policy Forum Series: An Evidence Review on Local Scientific & Clinical Effort in Hong Kong. This event continues the collaborative series of roundtables dedicated to advancing lung cancer care in the APAC region.
The event brought together top lung cancer experts from various specialities, including participants from the inaugural edition in September 2024 and new voices contributing fresh perspectives. At the meeting, top lung cancer experts shared advancements in the use of AI-assisted lung cancer screening as well as blood-based biomarkers. Additionally, opportunities to enhance access, equity and quality of care across the lung cancer patient journey were also discussed.
The next edition is already in planning, as we work towards a roundtable session focused on access to treatment, funding and financing, and the patient experience.
